Because of the emphasis on sound quality their turntables are intentionally simple, without additonal features like automatic return, or bluetooth connectivity they are able to put the entire manufacturing budget into components that actually make your records sound amazing. The Planar 1 is Rega’s entry level turntable, but its anything but entry level. Rega’s engineers have designed the Planar 1 to offer the best sound quality at the price. The Planar 3 RS is constructed using a brand-new aluminium metal skin HPL laminate to create the stiffest plinth at Planar 3 level we have produced. This stunning dark brushed metallic plinth, edged in high gloss black creates a stunning platform for the iconic Planar 3. The RS Edition includes a custom matched Neo MK2 PSU with each motor vibration circuit hand tuned to each individual motor.
