At Thirteen Audio and Art, we take pride in offering only the finest audio components and bespoke stereo systems from the world’s most respected brands. We stand by the quality of every product we sell, and our return policy complies fully with South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

1. Returns Under the Consumer Protection Act

You are entitled to return goods within six (6) months of purchase if they are defective, unsafe, or fail to perform as intended. You may choose between a repair, replacement, or refund. Returned items will be assessed to confirm that the issue is a defect and not a result of misuse, wear and tear, or incorrect installation.

2. Cooling-Off Period for Online or Direct Purchases

If you purchased a product online or through direct marketing, you may return it within ten (10) business days of receiving the item, provided it is unused, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging. A full refund will be issued once the item has been inspected and approved.

3. Goods Unsuitable for a Communicated Purpose

If you informed us of a specific purpose for your purchase and the goods do not meet that purpose, you may return them within ten (10) business days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

4. Condition of Returned Goods

All returned goods must be in their original packaging, complete with all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
Products that show signs of use, modification, or damage may not be eligible for return.
Damage during return shipping is not the responsibility of Thirteen Audio and Art. We strongly recommend using insured, trackable shipping for all returns.

5. Restocking Fee

A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns that are not due to defect or error on our part (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order, or goods returned under the cooling-off period).
